Kids Corner & Family Day

The Kids Corner and Family Day serves as the Family and Community Development pillar of the Ngwathe Easter Experience 2026 and provides a safe, inclusive and family oriented platform for children and parents to participate in recreational and developmental activities.

Hosted on 05 April 2026 at the Master Nakedi Sports Centre in Tumahole, the programme concluded the Ngwathe Easter Experience with activities specifically designed to promote family participation, child development and community interaction.

The programme recognises the importance of creating spaces where children and families could engage in positive recreational experiences while strengthening social bonds and community cohesion.
As the final component of the Easter Experience, the Kids Corner and Family Day reflects the Foundation's commitment to ensuring that the benefits of the programme extended to all age groups within the community.

• Provide educational and developmental experiences for children
• Strengthen community cohesion and inclusivity
• Support child wellbeing through structured recreational activities
• Conclude the Easter Experience with a family-focused celebration
Through these objectives, the programme contributed towards building stronger family
